Five Winter Clean-Up Tips
(Taken from CleanFax.com)
1. Salting and Cleaning Up Salt Residue
Sweep away excess snow and ice before putting down salt. Less salt you use, less salt gets through entrance doors. Salt can scratch floor finishes and cause corrosion.
2. Extra Matting in Entrances
Keep outside soils from making it past your door ways.
3. More Frequent Cleaning of Floors
Sweeping and mopping in order to dry floors faster.
4. Use Less Chemicals on Windows
With freezing temps, less moisture will prevent freezing while cleaning your windows. Aerosols are a good option.
5. Deeper Cleaning Indoors
Make use of more time indoors to do deeper cleaning like removing marks & scuffs that go unnoticed during the summer.
