1. Salting and Cleaning Up Salt Residue

Sweep away excess snow and ice before putting down salt. Less salt you use, less salt gets through entrance doors. Salt can scratch floor finishes and cause corrosion.

2. Extra Matting in Entrances

Keep outside soils from making it past your door ways.

3. More Frequent Cleaning of Floors

Sweeping and mopping in order to dry floors faster.

4. Use Less Chemicals on Windows

With freezing temps, less moisture will prevent freezing while cleaning your windows. Aerosols are a good option.

5. Deeper Cleaning Indoors

Make use of more time indoors to do deeper cleaning like removing marks & scuffs that go unnoticed during the summer.
